Dear LHS Families:
As the new principal of Liberty High School, I am eager to hear your thoughts about what is working well, and what needs to get better at LHS. One of my highest priorities for this year is to listen, observe, and reflect, and as I think about how to keep Liberty High School moving in the right direction, I want your thoughts to be a meaningful part of that process. Please take a few moments to honestly answer the questions below. This form is completely anonymous. I greatly appreciate your time and thoughtfulness. LHS Community and Family Input Form -

Parents and schools need to work together for the betterment of the students. Parents play an important role in providing support and building the confidence of their children. Parents should check some of the
tips
or
activties
they can use to develop their children’s confidence and improve their school experience.
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), in collaboration with the Virginia Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, MADD Virginia, and Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, is pleased to provide
Power of Parents, a brochure
focused on preventing youth underage drinking. This brochure is for all parents of seniors to commemorate the senior year and preparation for graduation. Research indicates that parents are the key to preventing youth underage drinking, and teens are significantly less likely to drink if they have a parent who delivers a clear and consistent message that underage drinking is unacceptable. To further ensure our students have a safe and healthy senior yea, we are providing high schools across Virginia with critical brochures to support parent conversations with their seniors about underage drinking and DUI prevention.
