Robyn Whorley, Director of School Counseling

WhorleyRobyn Whorley is probably a familiar face to the Liberty Zone. Prior to leaving Liberty High School in 2006 she served as a school counselor at Staunton river High School and then as the Director of School Counseling at Liberty High School. She worked for Bedford County Public Schools for 15 years. Since 2006 she has worked as a school counselor in neighboring counties. She has lived in the Liberty High School district for over 20 years.

Ms. Whorley earned her Associates of Science in Criminal Justice from Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York, a Bachelors of Science in criminology with an emphasis in juvenile counseling from SUNY Brockport and a Masters in Education in Secondary School Counseling from East Carolina University. Ms. Whorley is excited to return to Liberty High School.

Ms. Whorley is the proud mom of three Liberty High School graduates, Jon, Sara, and Ashley. In her free time Ms. Whorley enjoys spending time with her family, reading and working in her yard.

Ms. Whorley will be working with students whose last name begins with A-D.
