Dr. Kathleen Dills started at Liberty High School in August of 2005. She came to LHS from Roanoke County Public Schools, where she had taught Special Education in Northside Middle School and then at Roanoke County Career Center. Dr. Dills served as a Special Education Lead Teacher for Liberty High School and Bedford Middle School for three years and then in August of 2008 was given the opportunity to become an Assistant Principal for Liberty High School. In 2013 she was promoted to Principal of Liberty High School.
Dr. Dills received her undergraduate degree in Special Education from East Tennessee State University. Dr. Dills then went on to complete her Master's Degree from Radford University in the area of Emotional Disabilities. Dr. Dills then completed her Ed. S at Virginia Tech. Recently, Dr. Dills completed her dissertation and earned her Doctorate of Education degree in Leadership studies from Virginia Tech.
